What I Wore Wednesday

Good morning. Another snowy Wednesday this week. It was 68° on Monday. We played tennis. Spent hours outside dreaming of summer... and then Tuesday night the snow dropped on us. Crazy winter. Ugh. Its 18° this morning. I bundled up & we all went out in the snow. I mean. We had to. It'll be gone in a day or two.

Today's Outfit.

Skinny jeans from forever 21

Of course rocket dog boots, a scarf, hat, gloves, big puffy Columbia coat... and fleece socks. I didn't get a picture all bundled up. My phone is acting like crap. August can't come fast enough. 

Then we came in to warm up. Homemade hot chocolate & whipped cream. With sprinkles. Happy Wednesday.

What I Wore Wednesday

Today's just not about style and fashion. It's about warmth. It's freezing out there & we got snow last night. Doesn't look like much. But remember, I am in NC. We don't get this white stuff often. On a two hour delay this morning. And. It's our last day. Woot. Typically I would be so excited. It's winter and I can sleep in, stay inside. Be warm. Nope not this time. If you recall, I am dog walking. A neighbor asked if I could do it for a few days... turns out a few days is 23 days.  That said I've got another 11 days of taking the dogs out for a walk. Then I will feel like we are on break. Also. Hey. Mr. L is taking a week off of work. Eeek. Can't wait. Come on February 2nd.

What I am wearing... layers. I've actually got cable knit leggings on then fleece pants. Yes. I am even wearing fleece socks. I don't do cold well. I hate it.  And a pair of tall rocket dog boots. On top I am layering a thermal from Old Navy, cardigan by Old Navy and a warm sweater from target.

Time to go out in the cold. Happy Wednesday.

What I Wore Wednesday

Good morning. Killed my headache this morning with a cup of coffee, water, excedrin & a banana. Got the littles off to school.  Dogs are walked. Time to get to the machine. Wrapping up one more skirt & shipping all the Valentine's Day cuteness out. Um. Yes. I do have more of both. Let me know if you want one.

Christmas 2013

What a wonderful Christmas we had in our NEW home. The kids woke early - but they did as told... don't wake mom & dad until 7! They waited until 7:03 - go them! Then Cody somehow managed to get a sliver in his foot. I proceeded to spend an entire hour trying to get it out. No avail. Ugh. We continued Christmas Day with it stuck in his foot. {Don't worry dad got it out later!}

 The littles got all things they wanted, needed, didn't want, you know the typical Christmas Morning.  I spent the entire day in my pajamas.  Win.  My sister and her little family came over for Christmas Lunch & Calvin was here.  Side note:  So excited that the sweet W family is coming to live in NC.

Successful Christmas Day friends.  Now to enjoy every. single. minute of the Christmas Break.
