Same style... not made from a pillowcase. Fun little project which Emma stayed by my side until it was complete and then couldn't wait to put it right on. Actually she is wearing it now. She loves it. :) I love making my little lady clothes. I should really start selling. But I am not confident in my products. lol. I want to know it is going to withstand the washers and children of America! ;) I think I will though attempt to make another one of these dresses tomorrow or later today. Give it a good washing and see how it holds up.

Cute! So, do you actually stitch the ribbons onto some part, so they don't come out in the wash???

No, I didn't stitch the ribbons in, I just time them to wash it. Fabric from Walmart. I went to JoAnns and bought a few things yesterday... glad I did because when I stopped by Walmart I saw they aren't carrying fabric anymore. Maybe its just the Raleigh Walmart on WakeForest rd. or all of them? You will have to check your local walmart next time you are there to see if they do the fabric.?
