Last Day Of School

Another year gone in a flash - Told the boys this morning only 10 more years till graduation.  - Codys reaction.  "Awesome, I am not going to college.  College is the hardest grades of school."  Jack, "I can't wait to go to College. I am going to the one in North Carolina to be a vet."  {I don't even doubt he will!}  Jack our little smartie pants.  Mrs. Scott said he should just skip 2nd grade, move right on to 3rd. {Thats not happening by the way!}  So here are my lil' guys.  er, I suppose they wouldn't appreciate being called that.  Here are the boys.  Didn't change too much this year.  Maybe an inch taller & Cody has one more tooth that he didn't have last year at this time!

What a busy, crazy, fun, long, hot & tiring weekend.  It was filled with Baseball.  8 hours riding around in the car from place to place.  Drive-In Movies.   Even more baseball.

What I Wore Wednesday

Top:  XXI White Tank layered with a Eddie Bauer Ruffle Tee.  I freakin' <3 the simple ruffles on this top.  Mr. L is anti ruffle.  I don't get it. hmm.

 Bottom:  A ButterBeans&ChicPeas Skirt.

Its the first day of summer. I <3 Summer.  Hot & Humid here in NC & this skirt is totally keeping me cool.  Well that, the a/c & Popsicle!

Linking up with the Pleated Poppy.  As usual.

Weekend RePlay: Fathers Day

Fathers Day Weekend. Somehow the whole L Family slept in on Saturday morning. It was amazing. Until. We turned on the Keurig and found it wouldn't brew. After fucking with it for over two hours & getting nowhere I contacted them. They basically told me to fuck off. Didn't attempt to say there was a FIX for it. But I can purchase the same machine for $79.99. What a fucking joke. The machine is around 2 years old. Apparently it is right on to pay $100 per year to have a machine to brew over priced coffee in. That said I am using the cheesy keurig we have owned for 3 plus years. Somehow it is still working. Pretty sure the more electronics they put in these thing the less time they work. Ok. So end that rant. Hmph. I am planning on a regular brewer. Something simple. Maybe?

After a lovely start to the weekend Mr. L dropped the package off at the post.  Yay.  So happy to have those out & on the way to Ashley Latham Photography.  13 outfits to be photographed all in one day.  It will be amazing to see them all professionally done.  Excited.  Mr. L brought home Starbucks.  Yummy.  Finished our Saturday off with Smores at the fire pit.

Lots of baseball this weekend.  We are trying to get Cody good enough to be the team first baseman.  The team had 4 first baseman now they are down to two.  Cody is one of the two.  Yay.

Sunday, Fathers Day we went to the field again, more practice.  Shopping & Five Guys in the North Hills.  Fun day & weekend with the L Family.  - And Miss Emma was rockin' a jersey to impress her daddy on father day.  Ain't she sweet?

Don't Hate Facebook

Page owners - If you don't know about the "Promote" & "People Reached" features on Facebook now then you are more lost then me.  No - but really.  The "Promote" feature is a little on the silly side being that I currently have 4,038 Fans.  Facebook will allow me to spend as much as $25 to reach 4,500 fans.  I am a little confused being that I don't have that many fans to reach.  Yes.  I realize & if you don't let me explain.  You will be seen by people that are NOT your fans.  How?  When you click "like" on a post it shows up in your friends feed.  ex. "_____ "likes" ButterBeans&ChicPeas status"

So back to the point.  Don't hate facebook. Well you can - I have a love/hate relationship.  Get real.  Facebook is not going away.  We are all addicts.  Its growing & we are trying to keep up.  I am willing to pay to promote - not at this time.  Will I one day?  Maybe - but probably not.

On the "People Reached" feature.  I hate it. I love it.  Seeing the percentage can be a little disheartening.  But at the same time don't you want to see how many & what times your page is more likely to show up in the feed.  Personally on mine I find the higher percentage shows up later at night between 9:30PM - 12:30 AM.

Wall Photo posts have a higher "People Reached" percentage on my page.  Complaining about facebook has a HUGE percentage reached.  {Weird?}

- How to see your stats!
1} When logged into your page click on the "tool" drop down.
2} Click on View Insights.

3} You will be brought to a page like this.

By clicking "Likes" button you can see the info on your likers - Age, Sex, Location & even how they became a fan.

So learn to love it - Facebooks "People Reached" feature is a great tool.  Get real.  All of your fans will not be sitting on the edge of their seats just waiting for you to do your next post.  You will not see 100% - even if you pay $25 for that post.  I am sorry Facebook.  {No I am not!}  I am just happy to see 18% reached.  Honestly.
