Hapoy Freakin' Wednesday. This is so one of those weeks that I just wish it could slow the freak down. Eek. Have you have a week like that? Yikes. I have so much to do getting ready for the Twelve Days of Christmas deals. Plus orders that keep coming in {not complaining} and all the other mom duties. I may be slacking on the laundry front. ha. Squeezed in some time to blog this quick & now I am back to the machine. More cute bunnies getting stuffed today.

What I Wore Wednesday

Oh Wednesday. I am trying to enjoy every moment of you. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving & I will spend the bulk of the day in the kitchen. Um, I am not feeling the kitchen.   Emma woke up, "Is tomorrow Thanksgiving?"   Yes, I say.  "Good.  Because I love pumpkin pie & that good chicken."  - You mean turkey?  "Yah!"

Weekend RePlay

Started the weekend off Saturday morning with a trip to the post & off to the State Fair Grounds. Mr. L wanted to check out the gun show. mhmm. The real one. Not my "guns." Well, the lined wrapped around the building & we thought that was just a bit much. Guns aren't that great.  -- The trip wasn't a total lose since the flea market is also held at the fair grounds every weekend.  We hit up the farmers market spots.  Browsed the antiques.  Grabbed 5 bananas for $1, 2 avocados for $1, a big ole thing of strawberries for $3 & some locally made pumpkin spice honey spread.  Thats going to be amazing on toast tomorrow morning.  Yumm.

Back home for some lunch before heading over to the North Hills for the Christmas Tree Lightning.  The crowd was big again this year.  We got there early.  Enjoyed the train ride around the shops & then grabbed a spot up close to the stage to see Santa light the tree with his magic dust.  The kids love it.

 {Photo Credit:  North Hills.}

 We even got to see frosty.  Oh and Rudolph & the gingerbread man too.  Such a fun time.  The kids really love going every year.  This year we didn't give into all the extras.  The crafts, the bounce house & the sledding.  YES.  Sledding in North Carolina.  They had man made snow & a hill.  Two at a time - 3 hour line for a 10 second ride.  I think not.  So, thats why we didn't give into all the extras.  We did the "train" {1 hour wait} and that was enough waiting for us.  Emma was a little disappointed... but nothing a trip to Five Guys can't take your mind off. ha.

Sunday - Spontaneously decided to do our family portrait.  I mean.  It has to get done.  Right.  No one is happy about it.  Whine, whine whine.  I freaked out "I do things for your kids everyday, the least you can do is take one freakin' good picture."   On off to Target we went to buy sweaters for the boys!  Back home to our own backyard, the tripod & handy dandy timer.  Mhmm.  Much less stressful then a 2 x 3 curtained off area at the department store.  Ugh.

Fenway was a real asshole this year.  The photos didn't go well.  But they work.  The job is done.

Editing.  Print & Send.  Boom.  Until next year...

Super Mom

I have been asked so many times... "How do you do it?"  "When do you have the time?"  So to save time a blog post should do the trick, then I can cut & paste one simple link.

Time management is so necessary for me.  I try to stay on top of simple chores.  While dusting the shelves does get pushed aside from week to week.  Opps.   My kids are fed, my orders are filled & the bills are paid.  Honestly more can you ask for? ha.

So here is my "typical" weekday...

7:20 am - wake up
7:30 am - dressed & ready for the day
7:50 am - kids are all fed & dishwasher unloaded & reloaded
8:00 am - make coffee
8:15 am - emails checked, facebook page checked, coffee almost gone.
8:20 am - out the door with the three littles.
8:40 am - back from getting the littles off to school.
9:00 am - shipping labels & figure the orders that need to be done.
10:00 am - lunch {YES! I eat lunch for breakfast!}
10:30 am - run the washer & dryer.  Take the pug for a walk.
10:30 am - 1 pm SEW LIKE A CRAZY PERSON!!!!!
1:00 pm - ship out more orders that are complete.
1:10 pm - fold laundry. 1:45 pm - put away laundry & hopefully grab a shower.
2:00 pm - cup of coffee & relax. {tv. & cutting fabric, is that relaxing??}
3:00 pm - make lunches for the next day. - prep dinner.
4:20 pm - out the door to grab the littles.
5:00 pm - back home with the littles.
5:30 pm - homework done -
5:32 pm - food on the table {took 1 hour to cook, 2 minutes to eat!}
5:34 pm - dishes
5:50 pm - check in on emails & facebook.
6:30 pm - teeth. pjs. stories. bed.
7:30 pm - check in on emails & facebook.
8:00 pm - dvr with Mr. L.
9:30 pm - bed. YES. I go to bed at 9:30. eek. - ready to do it all again the next day.

Three years ago I would stay up all night.  For real.  3 am I was still up sewing.  I can't do it.  I won't do it.  I sew till 2pm most days.  Yes.  Sometimes I do some evening sewing, after the littles are in bed.  You know when Mr. L is watching something awful.  - Mainly, Sports.  Ugh.   I do this to keep sane.  Healthy & Happy.  {If Momma ain't happy... ain't nobody happy.}

Perhaps this is all easier now, due to the fact that my littles are all in school from 9 - 4.  No more, "Mommy, can you get me a snack."
"Mommy, I need you."
"Mommy, wheres my pink crayon."
"Mommy, come & wipe my butt now."

17 bazillion times a day.   Yes.  I can't remember how I got anything done with three kids at home.  Oh wait.  I didn't I was up till 3am.  How do you do it?  How do you manage your time?  -  I am super mom.  {Thats my secret to getting things done.  Shhh.}

Fabric Bins - Oh My.

I have been having a little too much fun creating fabric bins. I had a client request one in those super fun chevron print. So you know I had to mix & match with my favorite solids, kona. I just love love love how they turned out. Can't even choose a favorite. eeek.

 Yes.  I am working on a pattern for these.  I hope you love them.   I sure do.

What I Wore Wednesday

I think I missed last week. First one in awhile. Yes. I did. I remember now. I woke with an awful groggy headache - the kind that could of went full migraine. Instead I took a crazy hot shower & napped the morning away. I woke up, it was after noon & I felt better.   - This week I am feeling great today.  Woke up.  Cleaned the house up, the bug guy is coming today.  He deals with bugs, not sure why a couple dirty dishes would scare him! ha.   Walked the littles out to the bus.  Its crazy cold this morning.  But it felt refreshing.  Almost. -  I have four little bears & a few fabric bins cut up & ready to sew.  You know what I'll be doing today.  Also, I suppose I just gave away some details on what will be in Fridays {Ready to Ship Friday} upload.  Its gonna be a cute one.   For sure.  - On to the part about what I wore... As always linking up to The Pleated Poppy.

Long Sleeve Thermal - Old Navy
Current Fave Sweater - Eddie Bauer
Dark Denim Jeans - SOHO {Khols}
Forest Green Clogs - Target
{Love These shoes for wet mornings.  I can get home & not have wet socks. }

New Kinds of Coffee

Jack has my vote.  How could you not vote for someone who is going to make new kinds of coffee & libraries.  Those are top priorities.  For reals.

Photo: New kinds of coffee... I like his priorities. http://instagr.am/p/RtDzBDGFLC/

Emmas kindergarten class had a fun voting election.  It was close but, totally gave some insight on where the parents stance is.  Am I right.  Kids are so intuitive of these things.  10-6 Obama.

How do you think it will turn out when this is all over?  Its going to be way to close.  I hope you were well informed and made the decision based on you, not restricting on your party.   Pretty sure one thing we can all agree on.  No more ads.  Junk mail.  & sleazy phone calls.  I don't want to hear one more of them.

Make It Monday {Felt Coffee Sleeve}

One of my most fabric materials, felt.  What I love even more so, heather grey felt.  Yummy.  Mr. L took me out for starbucks late Saturday night.  Something came over me, perhaps, energy from the late night caffeine high.  ha.  I ended up whipping up a few of these Felt Coffee Sleeves & thought I just had to share them with you all for this weeks Make it Monday post.

So this one is super simple.  Take a coffee sleeve from and open it to lay flat.  Cut the felt using the used coffee sleeve as your guide.  Want the full tutorial & a template I created?  Find it & many other patterns here

Once you have the coffee sleeve cut, embroider & or decorate as you like.  Fold in half, wrong sides together, lining up the shorter edges & sew.  You can do this with your machine or by hand.  Trim loose thread.  Slip onto your favorite hot beverage cup & your finished.  Simple.  Fun.  Pretty.  I think - YES!!!

 Cut.
  Decorate.
Sew Short Edge Closed.
Finished.  Enjoy

Happy Monday. Do share pictures with us if you make one.
I would love to see how you created.
