Elastic and Skirts! :)

Bought some elastic and ribbon last night at good ole walmart. Just whipped up a skirt... first time using elastic... so simple... with my model emma to try out for size! :) Emma and I are both happy with the product... only took a half hour or so to do too! Easy FUN!

Aprons

Just made two little aprons. I UPCycled a shirt and added some details and a fabric tie to finish it up. I am so happy to have them up on Etsy for sale, and Look at my little Emma Lou so happy to be modeling for me to "Sale" my items, as she put it.

"PillowCase Dress"

Same style... not made from a pillowcase. Fun little project which Emma stayed by my side until it was complete and then couldn't wait to put it right on. Actually she is wearing it now. She loves it. :) I love making my little lady clothes. I should really start selling. But I am not confident in my products. lol. I want to know it is going to withstand the washers and children of America! ;) I think I will though attempt to make another one of these dresses tomorrow or later today. Give it a good washing and see how it holds up.

I am Back...

I am home, from my two weeks in Vermont. Of course it is now already almost two weeks since I got back. But I brought my Grandmother home to NC with me. We were so very busy doing things here with the kids I didn't get a chance to sit in front of my sewing machine.
Valentines Day (Sunday) I did get around to making Emma a pink Pig which she really wanted. :) She hasn't let it go yet. Even sets it down on the counter while she goes in to pee. She is so silly. She has decided to call her "Pinky Piggy."

All stuffed up and even has a sweet little face.

Emma says.... "I don't like crabs, they scoop me!" This must mean grab and pinch like crabs are infamously known for!

Look at that cute little smile, how can you not like this little "Crabby Crab!" He won't "scoop" you!
