{Make It Monday} Sewing Needle Keeper

Ah. Monday. Here is a fun & simple tutorial to brighten up your day.

Supplies:

Fabric {this is an awesome scrap buster!}
Coordinating Felt
Coordinating Thread
Sew in Interfacing
Sewing Machine

 Cut felt so that its a bit longer then your needles.  I cut mine at 3 inches squared.  Cut fabric & interfacing a bit bigger so that both pieces of felt fit and you have room for your seam allowance & folding it in a book style.  I cut my fabric & interfacing 4 1/2 x 8 inches.
Lay fabric right-side up on top of interfacing.  Stitch felt in place.  - Once felt is in place layer the second piece of fabric right side down and stitch around the edges of the rectangle leaving a 2 inch gap along the bottom for turning.
Trim & Clip Corners for easy turning.  Turn right-side out and tuck raw edges inside.  Pin in place. Sew around entire Sewing Needle Keeper to create a finished look with no raw edges.
You're Done.

Simple.  YesThese are so simple & you won't lose your needles.  I am always looking for a needle amongst my pins.
Love the idea - no time to stitch yourself one?  Or you just want one made by me.  {Aw, aren't you sweet.}  Well guess what!  I am giving one away.

I will choose a winner Sunday night, February 2, 2013How to enter?  Its simple really - just fill out the rafflecopter form & wait for the winner to be announced, here on the blog, on facebook & twitter.  The winner will be contacted and have 48 hours to claim the prize.  Thank You.
