So first off this pattern for the Reversible Vest is AWESOME! Right away the instructions are just like her other patterns detailed and thorough. The thing I am loving about some of Little Lizard Kings more recent patterns are that she is using actual patterns, not just measurements. I was able to print, cut & tape the pattern. I loved how fast this project came together. As I didn't have on hand the buttons suggested in the pattern I ended up making this a non-reversible vest with just some regular buttons.
I love how it came out... and yes it just about matches my curtains.
Cody once trying it on was looking quiet dapper. Yes. I would say so. I let him wear my glasses for the picture. Looked perfect ... but it was missing something... A pocket and perhaps a pocket watch...
I made this in the size 6 Years. Though I am not sure if Cody is big for a six year old or is the pattern a bit small? Or does this vest look right? He could get it on no problem but I am thinking it may have been a bit short.
I absolutely LOVED making this pattern. I cannot wait to make more and probably some matching bow ties to go with. Christmas photos are going to rock this year!

Ah-Ha!!! A bow-tie, it needs a matching bow-tie :) I solved the mystery!!! (you know my love for bow-ties!)
You are so sweet!
I totally love this idea! :) Super cute!! I will definitely want to order this soon! How much would it be shipped?
For the vest alone shipped $25... add a bowtie for just an extra $5. Gotta start browsing fabrics on Etsy to find your faves! :) Let me know!
