Weekend RePlay

For the past several weekends we haven't done much & on top of that I haven't blogged about hardly any of it.  This past weekend can not go un-blogged.  Mr. L, the little L's & I traveled north to Indiana.  Stopping along the way in Hurricane, WV for a quick overnight to break up the drive.

One of Mr. L's old Marine Corps buddies  had a special up coming birthday & his wonderful wife thought it would be an awesome surprise to have us come up and stay in a cabin together.  Isn't it great that you can go five years without seeing each-other (that's not the great part!) yet pick up right where you left off.  They are truly great people.  A awesome couple with four well behaved little ladies.

Basically because all 7 our children are so well behaved it made for an enjoyable trip.  We stayed in a cute cabin in the middle of nowhere somewhere.  Enjoyed good food.  A couple several glasses of wine.  Friendly chats & lots of catching up.  The kiddies all loved that there was a pool table, foosball, games & a hot tub out in the snow

Here the kiddies are having a whole lot of fun in the hot tub.  We left it up to the men to supervise the kiddies.  This could either be because it was too cold to get in.  Or perhaps we had had to much wine the night before.  Hmm.

 Emma and Sara sitting in there PJ's on the stairs our first morning together.  Wish I had gotten a picture of them together later that night in there nightgowns.  These two little ladies look so much alike.  Its crazy.

I am sure we will be hearing lots of stories about the kiddies new friends.  Wish we all lived closer so they could be the best of friends.  Miss Emma & her new little friend Sara (just a week apart in age) were so cute together.  Playing.  Holding hands & just being cute.  Emma was sure to get a chance to hold "the baby" before we left.  Wish I could of snook that little cutie right home with me.  Such a good lil' baby.
I took the above picture on the way home from Indiana.
It is somewhere in the "Mountains" of North Carolina.  {I just love it.}

Thank You W Family for a great weekend together.  Cannot wait for you to come visit us and we can host you all.
You are a wonderful family.
